It's back, by popular demand (and the strong Canadian dollar)! After 17 successful years, we stopped 4 years ago, but we're inviting you to bring your guests back. This year is going to be great! Highlights include; Three nights at spectacular The Davenport Hotel and Towers, unbelievable Thanksgiving buffet at the Davenport, shopping discounts at three malls, Fantasy in Lights Cruise on Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Tony Award winning "Putman County Spelling Bee" Broadway Show at the INB Performing Arts Center (formally the Opera House).

ITINERARY
Thursday, November 27th

Happy Thanksgiving! Arrive at The Davenport and Towers, built in 1914 and after a $40 million renovation, it has been named by Conde Nast Traveller as "2008 Gold List of the World's Finest Hotels" and Expedia has named it one of the "Top 10 Hotels in the US", come experience why. Tonight you'll be treated to a Thanksgiving Buffet like no other. Ice sculptures, carving stations, fresh seafood, and outrageous desserts are just a few of the listings.

Friday, November 28th

Today, it is off to shop! A "Canadians Welcome!" gift bag will be given to you for special discounts from River Park Square, the Northtown Mall and Spokane Valley Mall.

Tonight, travel to Lake Coeur d'Alene for the Holiday Lights Show. Board the cruise boat and cruise out to see over 100,000 twinkling lights and 30 illuminated, moving scenes. Cruise over to see Mr. and Mrs. Claus at Santa's workshop. There will also be time to wander through the resort to see the thousands of poinsettias and the Christmas decorations. Return to the hotel after the cruise.

Option: Add dinner along the way, at the Hot Rod Cafe' filled with vintage automobiles and great food. Cost:$20.00 inclusive with salad, 2 entree choices (beef and chicken), dessert and beverage.

Saturday, November 29th

Start with a tour of the Davenport, then your step-on guide will take you through the city and Historic Browne's Addition, pointing out other buildings and mansions designed by Kirtland Cutter, who was the architect for the Davenport Hotel. Next, tour through the beautiful gothic style, St. John's Cathedral (if no wedding booked), then up to the Conservatory at Manito Park. The thousands of flowers will give you a brief feeling of summer again! See the Spokane Falls on the way to the Crosbyanna Room at Gonzaga University, where Bing's Oscar's, gold records and other memorabilia can be seen. (time 2 ½ hours). Rest of the day is free for your shopping adventure.

Tonight, is the award winning performance of the Broadway Show "Putman County Spelling Bee". This musical comedy is in its' 25 year. The Wall Street Journal says "It's spelled w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l", the Washington Post says "it's the funniest thing in 7 consonants", Time calls it "the joy of nerdiness".

Sunday, November 30th

Return home.

Tour Includes: Three nights at the Davenport Hotel, baggage handling, bus parking, Thanksgiving Buffet at the Davenport, Shopping bags, Holiday in Lights cruise, step-on guide for City Tour, and reserved seats for Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Cost: $382.00 double / $573.00 single / escort comp with 20 rooms or $385. with a minimum of 25 guests / driver rate depends on what you want them included in.

Option: If you would like to have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner at another location, call us with choices, deduct $40.00 per person.
